Competition Mentoring

Robogals provides mentoring to teams in robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO League or RoboCup Junior. We encourage the schools at which we give robotics workshops to enter one of these competitions as it gives the girls a solid goal to work towards.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has named Robogals founder Marita Cheng as Young Australian of the Year for 2012. The award was presented on the eve of Australia Day on the steps of Parliament House in Canberra.
